Seeking a Tennessee Licensed Credentialing Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage provider credentialing processes, including initial appointments and primary source verifications, while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and organizational policies. Key responsibilities Process initial appointments, reappointments, and privileging applications for healthcare providers Perform comprehensive primary source verification of credentialing requirements and maintain accurate records Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve credentialing deficiencies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Required qualifications Minimum 2 years of provider credentialing experience; hospital Medical Staff credentialing experience preferred Experience with primary source verification and credentialing compliance activities Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, NCQA, and Medical Staff credentialing standards preferred Experience utilizing credentialing systems such as MD-Staff or similar platforms preferred High school diploma or equivalent required
