If so, we can't wait to meet you!We have a full-time, benefited opening as a Sample Management Technician in our Bioanalytical Division in Lincoln, NE.This position offers a consistent daytime schedule in an independent, nicotine-free work environment — ideal for someone who thrives on structured, process-driven work. This is a full-time, benefited entry-level role starting at $19.00 or $19.50 per hour based on experience.Responsibilities:Receive and check in biological samples with accuracy and careComplete all required recordkeeping for check-in, sample transfer logs for chain of custody, and freezer logsCommunicate with clients or sites as needed for sample coordinationPerform careful manual entry of sample dataStore samples for long-term storage, ensuring each is in the correct locationRack samples for productionKeep all samples in order and in the correct freezersCount samples at the end of each studyPerform data entry for the sample receipt areaReturn samples to clients or other specified partiesConduct daily monitoring of refrigerators and freezers, including regular maintenance (defrosting) with proper documentationMaintain a clean, organized lab space and freezer rooms — a tidy environment supports accurate, reliable workQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree is preferredA strong eye for detail — you notice when something is off and you correct itComfort with repetitive, process-driven tasks performed to a consistently high standardTo prevent sample contamination, nicotine-free candidates are preferredPrevious lab or science experience or training is preferredMust have excellent communication skills and be a collaborative team playerMust be self-motivated and able to manage your work independentlyShift:40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, beginning work between 7:30 am and 9 am, based on your preferenceCelerion Values: Integrity Trust Teamwork RespectCelerion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
