Life Underwriter

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-5 months

Requirements

• Life underwriters with experience working with electronic health records and other types of digital health data.
• Experience with all traditional underwriting evidence, especially Attending Physician Statements and have experience in the US market.
• Minimum experience probably 10 years, but open to less experience for the right person.
• Anyone with project exposure would be a plus.
• The project goal is to assess the value of electronic health records in the risk selection process.
• The contractors will be reviewing previously underwritten files supplied by client’s clients.
• Underwriters will be asked to come to an underwriting decision using client’s criteria.
• Clear documentation regarding the findings in the file and the reason for their decisions is needed. There will be no insurance risk to client from their underwriting decisions.
• Remote availability with client laptops provided.
